FREESTYLE SKI
Overview

Full Description
Light, manoeuvrable and fun for intermediate skiers starting out in the park or for tricks and jumps off the side of the pistes, the Threat is also a reasonably versatile option as freestyle skis go – ideal for a teenager who insists on twin tips when they’re probably going to spend next to no time in the park!
The composite core is made up of very lightweight materials while the Edgy Monocoque construction is designed specifically for Salomon’s freestyle skis and reduces material towards the extremities of the ski while maintaining good grip and edge control underfoot.
The Threat is a directional twin, so it does perform better running forward than switch, but the twin style tail will do all the switch an intermediate skier is going to need, while giving the ski a more suitable shape for some tail grip and edge hold for more all round skiing on harder snow.

TOP TIP
Ski Servicing
Watch out for shops that cut corners – and costs – by hardly ever servicing their skis, or just giving them a quick wax. Unserviced or badly serviced skis can ruin your whole week. Why pay for substandard kit?
