Full Description
For a ski that’s nearly 11 centimetres underfoot, and pretty straight to boot, in the right conditions the Rocker ² 108 I a lot of fun.
One of the defining points of the Rocker² 108 is of course the dual tip and tail Twin Rocker. The tip rock section, in particular, is very long which does give great flotation in softer snow even at slowish speeds but means the effective edge is very short which can jeopardise grip and edge control on hard snow. Then again no-one said it was a piste ski!
Although the ski has a full wood core, there’s nothing much more in terms of vibration absorbing materials so on harder or choppy snow the ride is not as smooth as it might be, but in softer and deeper snow these skis are in their element.
On the other hand the 108 is light and surprisingly manoeuvrable and playful for a wide ski.

Ski Servicing
Watch out for shops that cut corners – and costs – by hardly ever servicing their skis, or just giving them a quick wax. Unserviced or badly serviced skis can ruin your whole week. Why pay for substandard kit?
