Full Description
Complementing the double-rocker Rocker² range which now only comes in wider skis, the Q range uses Salomon’s more versatile Utility Rocker at the front end only for a ski that still floats beautifully in soft snow but has a longer effective edge and more grip in the tail, making it perform better than the old Rocker²’s in this narrower width bracket on piste and harder conditions.
“Hook Free Taper” pulls the widest part of the ski further away from the tip, meaning the ski is less likely to hook in deep snow as well as reducing unnecessary weight in the tip – further reduced by the Honeycomb Tip construction.
The tail has no rocker and is relatively flat to the ground for increased grip on harder conditions while the slightly rounded shape still allows the ski varied turn shapes and styles to cope with changing terrain.
The Q-98 also features a full length wood core for a damp ski giving a smooth and comfortable ride.

Ski Servicing
Watch out for shops that cut corners – and costs – by hardly ever servicing their skis, or just giving them a quick wax. Unserviced or badly serviced skis can ruin your whole week. Why pay for substandard kit?
