EXPERIENCE 83
ALL MOUNTAIN SKI
Overview
Rossi’s Experience series fits between the S range of freeride skis and the Pursuits which are essentially piste skis. The 83, with a slight preference towards harder conditions, is one of the more versatile skis in the Experience range – a great all-round choice.
Great for :
loves soft stuff all over the mountain, on or off the piste
Not so great for :
not the best ski for very hard snow or ice

Full Description
Sitting right in the middle of Rossi’s range of Experience all-mountain skis, the 83 is a very versatile choice for a variety of uses.
The extended sidecut is wide all over – although it’s only 3mil wider than the old Bandit SC80 underfoot, it’s a full 10 mils wider at the tip and 11 at the tail! This gives enough surface area for flotation without an extended tip, and makes the Experience perform respectably in slightly harder snow and piste conditions. It's not the fastest ski edge-to-edge though.
The longitudinal flex is soft and even, giving a smooth ride. Torsion is also relatively soft, allowing the ski to deal with variable condition and ungroomed snow.
Autoturn profile combines a traditional high camber along 70% of the ski’s length with low rocker sections at tip and tail.

Ski Servicing
Watch out for shops that cut corners – and costs – by hardly ever servicing their skis, or just giving them a quick wax. Unserviced or badly serviced skis can ruin your whole week. Why pay for substandard kit?
