ALL MOUNTAIN SKI
Overview
One of the narrowest models in Rossi’s Experience range of all-mountain skis, the 78 is predominantly aimed at harder conditions, though it will deal quite well with some softer snow too. Full Description
As one of the narrowest skis in Rossi’s Experience range of all-mountain skis, the 78 is an ideal option for anyone from good intermediate level upwards looking for a take-me-anywhere ski in harder snow conditions. It also performs very well just after a snowfall when there’s a layer off softer stuff on top of a firm base.
The sidecut is very similar to modern piste skis and so is the overall shape. However Autoturn Rocker construction, combining 70% traditional camber with short tip and tail rocker sections gives what may look like a piste ski quite a bit of added versatility.
With a sidecut radius of 17 metres in the 174, this ski much prefers turns on the longer side of medium, but the flex is soft enough to allow anyone with a decent amount of speed and technique to bend it into a tighter turn too.

TOP TIP
Ski Servicing
Watch out for shops that cut corners – and costs – by hardly ever servicing their skis, or just giving them a quick wax. Unserviced or badly serviced skis can ruin your whole week. Why pay for substandard kit?
