Movement
CREW
OFF-PISTE / ALL MOUNTAIN SKI
Overview
A new off-piste charger from Movement, the Crew is a great option for aggressive, high-speed use in the steep and the deep.
Great for :
High speeds, deep and soft snow. Good in end of season sludge as well.
Not so great for :
It’s a long, fat, and has a big rocker so don’t even think about it for hard pistes!

Full Description
New from Movement for 2014, the Crew is twin tipped, double rocker, 112 underfoot – perfect for steep pitches and deep, light snow.
Rubber edge inserts provide great shock absorption for unexpected terrain variations and landings. The VA-Tech vibration dampening system in the nose is a rubber layer to smooth the ride and dampen the vibrations which would otherwise be expected from the extra-wide 141 mm tip.
The Crew’s partial cap construction combined with the poplar wood code make this a lovely, light ski while carbon and fibreglass reinforcements provide plenty of strength as well as more pop and liveliness than you’d expect from a “big fat”.
Superb for long turns in soft snow at high speeds. Less good for short turns, hard snow or slow speeds.

Ski Servicing
Watch out for shops that cut corners – and costs – by hardly ever servicing their skis, or just giving them a quick wax. Unserviced or badly serviced skis can ruin your whole week. Why pay for substandard kit?
