Full Description
At 95 underfoot, the Venturi 95 is classified by Head the narrowest model in their Big Mountain range. However, it’s really more of a wide all-mountain ski – certainly it’s most at home in deeper, softer stuff but it’s not too bad on harder snow and groomed piste either. Wide enough at 140/95/126 for plenty of flotation, while incorporating other features which make it better on piste than you would expect from the specs.
There’s a big rocker at both tip and tail for heaps of flotation in the soft snow so you would expect piste performance to be compromised quite a bit. However the full length wood core, shock absorbing materials in the tip and and the Tip and Tails Stabilizer System combines elastomer inlays with raised ribs along the length of the ski to reduce twisting all go reduce vibrations and increase ski-snow contact and grip.
At 16 metres in the 181 length, the sidecut radius of the Venturi which defines its inbuilt turn preference is shorter than you might expect.

TOP TIP
Ski Servicing
Watch out for shops that cut corners – and costs – by hardly ever servicing their skis, or just giving them a quick wax. Unserviced or badly serviced skis can ruin your whole week. Why pay for substandard kit?
